HELLO!
Gloria is a Mexican editorial designer and illustrator that loves expressing her views and feelings about the world in colorful impactful compositions. She is currently studying Visual Information Design at Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She was runner up in Premio Nacional al Diseño in the editorial category and was awarded in Harvard’s poster contest by HUMAS: Images Of Mexico, where her work was used as the official branding and image of the event. She has also participated in art exhibitions at Museo Regional de Cholula and Capilla del Arte UDLAP.
Bears and dogs commonly are the portrayers of intense feelings and punklitical stances that take place in her illustrations; in a collage/magazine style. Her editorial work emphasizes color presenting information in an easily digestible way. Gloria uses expressive lettering in her pieces as a way to demonstrate her frustration with the lack empathy in the world today.
This designer loves horror stories, storytelling through video games, street art and alternative culture, with a deep appreciation of self-expression through tattoos. In her free time, she loves playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, watching horror movies, going out with friends, and most importantly spending time cuddling with her two dogs (and sometimes her brothers cat).
